How To Make Sobriety Stick

7 Tips To Help You Build A Sustainable, Progressive, and Lasting Sobriety.

Most (all) people think they either can’t quit drinking, or maintain sobriety once they do.

There is a lot of preconceived/incorrect/backwards thought around alcohol, alcohol addiction, and sobriety - what “successful” recovery “should” look like (i.e., perfect), what sobriety looks like (i.e., boring).

This faulty belief system informs the process, and most people feel like they are doing it wrong, that it should look different than it does, or that they'll never achieve lasting sobriety - which makes 1) for a harder recovery, 2) us more likely to give up trying, and 3) sobriety less likely to stick.

There are tricks to approaching sobriety that help us get out from under the BS. We can create a path that feels sustainable and progressive instead of stalled, torturous, and up and down and embarrassing. It just takes a few foundational principles.
